Some things I learned from work:

1) Try to blend in as far as possible

2) Don’t assume they know you well,be polite to others.

3) Put others before yourself. Be helpful to others.

If only…

So sick of work. So tired of work. Is this all my life is going to be from now on? I’m so sick of bringing trouble to peopleand people being annoyed with me. I’m sick of that stupid fucking stifling environment. Of people being sian diao with me.

I’m sick of waiting for this jail sentence to pass so I can finally live my life and be myself and pursue what I want to do. I shall look for a job closer to what I want to do and change job as soon as I find it.

I want to be a writer and an interpreter. I will travel for my day job as an interpretator and write about my travels at the same time. Haha! That’ll be so great!

I have a better feeling about this now. See if it works! We shall see in 6 month’s time. Note to self-check: check back again in May 2010.

Monday blues

:) Had a good day at work. The day started with a bad case of Monday blues cos I was so shagged from blading on sunday hehh~ *tongue hangs out of my mouth* Yeah, seriously. And my feet were swollen like pig’s trotters cos I was tilting my feet in rollerblades. Ouch. And it’s the sole that is swollen! So every step I take is painful :( :( :( omg. BUT the problem is solved aft i slipped on my blackĀ  sketchers from Tokyo. It’s super cushiony! I was so grateful. I DON’T HAVE TO LIMP AROUND THE OFFICE!!!!!!! hehh~ *tongue hangs out of my mouth*

I got to work late (oops) cos I was dreading work and dallied at home. That resulted in me getting in at 845am. (Starting time is 8.15) But that aside, my morning was pretty productive and my supervisor spoke to me abt the project so it wasn’t as bland a morning as usual. Yay! I wore my new blue checked high waisted top today. Happy! =D

I LOVE MY FRIENDS SO MUCH!!!!!!!!!!!!

I miss them so much….Been so busy at work :( So excited for the next two days of playing: movie, salsa, cycling, blading, reading, writing…

Went to the Times Printers today as part of my work training. So cool….so many machines…C-M-Y-K…thought I left those terms behind forever. The trip was definitely an eye-opener. Only employees are allowed in the printing plant so it was an exclusive inside look okay!

I’m planning to cycle and blade tomorrow morning. Gotta get my gear WELL-OILED before the Big Day – sunday – when I’ll be hitting ECP with my one-and-only KS ^-^

(KS refers to 3 pple)

Yay! Had so much fun at the plant with my colleagues. HAPPY! =D

I’ll try to blog more often…hehe.

Hmmm…haven’t had the energy to blog since starting work…and anyway what am I doing up at 2am? I’m trying to complete my work so I can submit in the morning. The deadlines for this project is crazy!!

Wish I can be a freelance writer. Wish I have the courage to quit my job. Arrgh I’m just tired of doubting everything….can I stop this and start anew? Something changed between me and him and I don’t know why.

I’m looking to teach Eng to underprivileged kids. Anyone got ideas where I can look?

yay off to watch Fringe and NCIS now!! And The Beast. Wonder if Mad Men is nice? hehe. Feel like catching up on classic Japanese films at the library@esplanade. SO MANY SHOWS but so little time!!!!!!!!

Nowadays i prefer to watch easy-watching fluff like romcoms when I go to the movies. No more horror or action flicks. i don’t really appreciate animations too. Japanese ones are nice enough but Hollywood ones…hmmm I feel there’s nothing new. I wouldnt watch them twice. I don’t know abt animations from Europe or other countries though. I wish local movie distributors would bring in good movies from other countries as well. That would be cool. Living here, you might think only Hollywood or France or Hong Kong make good films but that’s not necessarily true.

This week be over soon!

Tired from work. Incredibly sleepy and lethargic. Damn.

Birthday week

It’s my birthday today and I’m so happy to have so many great friends! Thanks for your well-wishes and presents :) Really appreciate you all :) Have a great week ahead!

Watched ‘The Proposal’ last night. Nice show!!!!!!!! I loved it, it’s so funny! Sandra Bullock’s so great :D :D :D I’m gg to watch The Ugly Truth soon! Can’t wait!

My Week

To my friends who are reading this blog, here’s a recap of my week:

Sun Lunch with KS

It was nice to catch up! hehe.

Wed Japanese class

Whoo! I finally started learning Japanese again! Even though I was 30mins late, and was a bit blur at the start of the class, as I was sitting in the last row trying to figure out the Japanese grammar in my brain and willing my synapses to move faster through the post-work haze, a thought crept into my head: I’m so grateful to be here.

I’m so grateful to be here in that moment, in that classroom, trying my best to get Japanese grammar. Happy~

Sat colleague’s party + Meet up with Serene bestie

I went to my colleague’s party with some apprehension. Didn’t know what to expect – he’s filipino-chinese so his friends will most likely be filipinos too – will i stick out? what can i talk to people about? but luckily there weren’t so many guests, only 10 pple so it was more of cosy get-together thing than a real bash. And it was held by the poolside, in a v public place so i felt safe (We were drinking beer, wine and whiskey). It was qt fun, i chatted with a couple of people and got a bit tipsy mixing my drinks. I’ll drink like beer, then get bored of the taste n drink whiskey mixed with coke/rootbeer and then switch to red wine aft tt. haha. so i was kind of high when i went to meet Serene.

Gao xiao man! We spent like 20mins trying to find the bakery called Provence. In the end we asked like 2 groups of pple, including 2 young guys whom I tot 1 was qt cute, for directions but to no avail. Eventually we found a touchscreen directory (why does the management hide them so? it’s so hard to spot them. And where’s the information counter?) and located the bakery. But by then the pastry tt she wanted had alrdy sold out. We settled on having Taiyaki instead which was quite ex but tasted not bad. Aft tt we went to watch Dance Flick which is rather lame and while i enjoyed it (I found it a little bit below my okay standard but i wasn’t totally bored), it’s really not worth the money. Lucky we had a discount on the tix :)

Oops it’s time to leave for dinner at JP.

yay! i love weekends!

Monday post

I’m freaking addicted to Groovehsark, man! That’s where I go for my music fixes nowadays.

Too many things going through my head today….feeling confused. I trust that I can relax and let things work themselves out.

Work’s piling up up UP! Grrrr.
